The building sits a short distance from the I-285 and GA-400 interchange, which makes us straightforward to reach from Buckhead and Midtown to the south, Dunwoody and Brookhaven to the east, and Roswell, Alpharetta and Marietta to the north.
Parking is free and on site, so there is no deck ticket to validate and no walk across a hospital campus. Take the elevator to the second floor and check in at Suite 201.
Coming by MARTA, the Medical Center and Sandy Springs stations on the Red Line are both close, and a short rideshare covers the last stretch. If you are unsure, call (770) 588-3570 and we will talk you in.
Bring your ID, insurance card and any outside lab results. If we still need bloodwork, it is drawn here rather than sending you elsewhere.
You sit in a private bay with a recliner. An IV goes in, the iron runs slowly, and a nurse monitors you throughout. Most people read, work or nap. Bring a sweater — infusion rooms run cool.
We keep an eye on you briefly afterward, then you go. Most patients drive themselves home and return to normal activities the same day.
We recheck your ferritin and hemoglobin to confirm the deficit closed, and plan monitoring around whether the cause of the loss is still active.
The majority of our Atlanta patients are women with iron deficiency from a cause that has gone unaddressed — heavy menstrual bleeding, pregnancy and postpartum blood loss, or the heavier, less predictable cycles of perimenopause. Many arrive after being told their blood count was normal, because ferritin was never checked.
We also treat iron deficiency from malabsorption after bariatric surgery, anemia associated with chronic kidney disease and chronic heart failure, patients who need iron corrected before surgery, and the full range of hematology and oncology conditions our practice covers.

Plan on roughly two hours for a first infusion visit: about 10 minutes to check in, 45 to 90 minutes for the infusion itself depending on the product and dose, and a short observation period afterward.
Yes. Intravenous iron is not sedating, and most patients drive themselves home and return to normal activities the same day. We monitor you for a short period after the infusion before you leave.
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, any lab results from the past year, and a list of your medications and supplements — including which oral iron products you have tried. A sweater is a good idea, as infusion rooms run cool.
